October 2011

On October 21st and 22nd, the 1.International CURE-Net Conference took place in Heidelberg, Germany (www.curenet2011.de). With lectures on epidemiology and genetics of uro-rectal malformations, as well as many pediatric surgical and urological issues (including aftercare and continence), the program included a very broad spectrum (program find here).

Following the conference, there was the 1.CURE-Net Information-Day for affected patients on October 23rd. Here, first results of the CURE network were presented (program find here).

We want to thank everyone who contributed to the success of the conference and the patient information day!

June 2011

7 presentations of CURE-Net at the 18th International Paediatric Colorectal Club Meeting in Ankara, Turkey.

August 2010

Up to now more than 600 families with rare uro-rectal malformations have actively participated in CURE-NET.

March 2010

More than 40 German hospitals have already asked for infant questionnaires.

February 2010

Some publications appear, e.g. a special edition about psychological factors in patients with anorectal malformations.
