Multicentre cross-sectional and longitudinal Follow-Up Study in ARM

In the past evaluation of operative and postoperative long-term outcomes of patients with Anorectal Malformations (ARM) has been solely built on retrospective single-centre analyses with contradicting results. To identify reliable predictive parameters for the longterm postoperative course of newborns, we will conduct a prospective longitudinal study. For identification of postoperative complications we will further conduct a cross-sectional multicentre study including all age groups resulting in an age and gender adapted follow-up pass.
